Makan Round-Up 16.04.2010

Makan = Eat
* * *

Taiwanese Noodle House, Ampang: The must-have massive Beef Noodle which never fails to hit the spot. Your choice of dry or soup. Mine is always the dry version...

The gyoza was a bit of a fail 'cos it was obviously frozen and fried in old oil! =_=

Old Town Ba Kut Teh (the less commercialised one next to the mamak, opposite Public Bank): A cool night with a group of friends, chatting the night away...bliss...

Nasi Goreng USA @ Alai, Bukit Damansara (mamak): Was introduced to this dish by my colleague a few months back and have been eating it at least once a week for lunch. The tender mutton with generous gravy and the runny egg! Whoever thought of this combination is a pure genius!

Macaroons @ Designers at Debenhams Launch Party: I rarely eat macaroons as they are too sweet but these were too hard to resist...I think I had 5 of them that night! Does anyone know who the caterer was?

Murukku @ Batu Caves: I always look forward to Deepavali so I can munch on murukku all day long. On a recent visit to Batu Caves, I was delighted to find out that I can buy fresh murukkus for RM5 per pack. I think I've got to learn how to make them when I go to NZ *sigh*

Here's to a good weekend ahead - Happy Eating! xoxo
